Well, my Christmas was pretty uneventfuly
, which is saying a lot when you have three small children running about, two dogs, a cat, and a brother-in-law with a relaxed attitude towards gun control. It was pretty disappointing actually. Oh, well. Perhaps next year will be more exciting. |

Yay, it's Christmas! I love Christmas! Lots of food, presents, and great stuff on the telly! This years there's a new Doctor Who Christmas Special (with Kylie! Yay!), Finding Nemo, Shrek 2, and Shrek the Halls (a Shrek Christmas Special!) I don't think I'll bother watching Eastenders this years, that show is always so depressing. No wonder there's always such a high suicide rate over Christmas.
What are the rest of you guys looking forward to on the telly over the Christmas period? |

My cold is much better if any of you lot want to know. I spent most of it tucked up in bed fiddling around with the laptop that Brian brought me for my birthday. (For those of you that have short memories, Brian is my husband, also known as Captain Britain, the protector of the British Isles.)
Brian wasn't very amused when I showed him this, but I thought it was kind of cute.

Well, I guess my campaign to be elected Prime Minister will have to wait. I went and caught a bloody cold. It's not a pretty sight. My eyes are all puffy and snot is running from my nose like a river. Lovely image, no?
Well, at least I have a husband to dote on me. And re-runs of cheesy old soaps. It's amazing how watching old episodes of Eldorado and Crossroads can cheer me up. Failing that, there's always that great big bar of Cadbury's Whole Nut that I've got in the cupboard. Well, it isn't going to eat itself.
Also, because everybody seemed to be doing it, I decided to make myself a mix tape. But I decided to be different and made a mix tape out of some random theme tunes off the telly...

I'm bored. Excalibur has been doing such a good job of fighting crime that there's nothing else to do. All of the baddies have been locked up. We're just too good at our jobs, I guess.

Happy Guy Fawkes Night, everybody! I hope you're all going to play safe. Keep all pets locked inside. Brian and I are going to throw our own little Bonfire Night party. There will be a bonfire (obviously), fireworks, and lots of food. It's going to be great fun!
Hopefully everything will go to plan. Unlike last year. Brian nailed the Catherine Wheel to the fence too tightly and almost set fire to the garden. |
